I am delighted that you have found your way to RAACH SOLAR. Let me introduce you to the philosophy and historical background of our company. My motivation has developed into my profession, which goes back to the 1980s, which remind us of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl (Ukraine) and the constant pollution of our air to breathe, our water to drink and our soil to plant. The nuclear accident in Fukushima (Japan) and the ongoing pollution are also not forgotten and rather show that nothing has changed.
I see the continuous growth of our global population with the simultaneous consumption of our resources and fossil fuels, accompanied by continuous pollution of our environment, as a major problem. Renewable energies in the energy sector are the only way to reduce greenhouse gases and replace a centralised energy supply with a democratic and decentralised structure. Photovoltaic technology in particular, with its modular design of small to large power supply systems, is the most promising solution to mitigate the damage that has already been done to our nature. Well-designed photovoltaic solutions can utilise existing land to generate clean and affordable electricity.
RAACH SOLAR is a family business. Our office is not only located in a triple-glazed building with passive energy, the building also provides an energy surplus and produces more electricity than is consumed by electrical appliances and heating systems. By combining the best quality components and special designs, we create photovoltaic systems that stand for durability, economy and aesthetics.

1994 | Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Reutlingen on the topic of "Business and Technology of Solar Pump Systems" in Indonesia.
1995 | Project management at SIEMENS SOLAR GmbH Munich for solar projects in Africa, in particular the regional solar programme (CILSS) for more than 500 solar pump systems in West Africa.
1996 | He was promoted to Area Sales Manager West Africa at SIEMENS in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to set up a solar distribution network in more than 20 countries in the sub-Saharan region.
1999 | Appointment as Area Sales Manager Africa at STECA Memmingen for battery charging systems, inverters, DC loads and special applications.
2006 | RAACH SOLAR GmbH is founded as an operating and asset holding company for grid-connected solar systems and power plants.
2013 | Foundation of RAACH SOLAR, Jürgen Raach, sole proprietorship in Erolzheim, Germany, as an engineering, procurement and commissioning company (EPC) for turnkey photovoltaic systems, consulting and services.
2021 | Change of the name of a sole proprietorship to RAACH SOLAR, Inh. Jürgen Raach e.K. in preparation for further financial investments.
2021 | Mittelstandsbeteiligungsgesellschaft MBG Baden Württemberg and the investment company CHANCENKAPITAL of KSK Biberach invest in RAACH SOLAR.
2022 | Change of company name to RAACH SOLAR GmbH, entry in the Ulm commercial register.
2022 | Increase in share capital to € 200,000 with simultaneous participation by KKL VV GmbH and PELABA Beteiligungs-GmbH and increase in liquidity by around € 3.5 million.
2024 | Preliminary insolvency proceedings are opened for the sister company RAACH SOLAR GmbH with subsequent final insolvency, triggered by the insolvency of a major co-shareholder and investor, KKL VV GmbH in Dachau.
2025 | RAACH SOLAR PROJECTS GmbH takes over some of the employees and continues the business without legal succession.
MISSION STATEMENT
RAACH SOLAR plans, procures, supplies, installs and maintains turnkey and customised photovoltaic systems worldwide. RAACH SOLAR is a premium provider of ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants, building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), carports, battery storage systems, AC mini-grids, solar pump systems, solar street lamps, charging stations and charging concepts for electric vehicles as well as consulting and services for renewable energy projects.
