KFW AND GIZ OFFICES IN MALI NOW WITH PHOTOVOLTAIC LITHIUM BATTERY SYSTEM

Bamako, Mali

RAACH SOLAR engineered, delivered and commissioned a turn key photovoltaic and lithium battery system on the roof the the KfW and GIZ headquartes in Bamako Mali.

The contract was awarded to RAACH SOLAR by an international tender procedure. The particular challenges of this project were the waterproof renovation and isolation of the flat roof before the installation of the photovoltaic system. A project engineer from RAACH SOLAR with a local long time partner company installed the PV system and will give continuous after sales serice in Bamako. Additionally the PV battery system is remotely monitored by RAACH SOLAR.

The grid tie photovoltaic system reduces the energy consumption from the grid, the overall running time of the diesel genset and during power outages to reduce the fuel consumption of the diesel generator. A 50kWh lithium battery allows to shift the solar energy production during daytime into the night time. RAACH SOLAR delivers turn key photovoltaic systems worldwide.
